Well today we have had the most fabulous afternoon ‘railcruising‘ just above Rotorua, New Zealand.
So I admit that until we drove past the signs for it yesterday I had never heard of railcruising either and I understand this is the only one of its kind in the world.
The tour leaves from Mamaku station which was about a 30 minute drive from our hotel in Rotorua. We have a hire car so we’re able to drive ourselves to the station but I understand that if you contact the railcruising company directly that they may be able to arrange local hotel pick up too.
